The Vehicle Cybersecurity US team within Traton R&D at International is dedicated to developing robust cybersecurity architecture to protect onboard assets and ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and laws. The Vehicle Cybersecurity Architect, will be responsible for cybersecurity protocols and controls, including TARA, secure boot, secure onboard communication, PKI strategy, and secure update mechanisms, ensuring adherence to CSMS processes.
This position will be located at International’s design center in Lisle, Illinois. Occasional support may also be required at International’s test and production facilities, as well as occasional onsite support from suppliers and customers

We currently have a great opportunity for a Vehicle Cybersecurity Architect on our TRATON USA’s R&D Team.

Responsibilities Build and provide competence in cryptographic technologies.Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards.Develop onboard and offboard security solutions.Enable secure and compliant systems for TRATON's evolving programsProblem solving and implementing solutions to hardware and control software issuesWork in a team and contribute to the continuous improvement activities through participation in Lean projects, technical knowledge capture, process improvements etc. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer ScienceAt least 12 years of experience in product design/development or new technologies and/or computer science experienceAt least 2 years of experience leading new technologies or specialized technologies

OR

Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer ScienceAt least 8 years of experience in product design/development or new technologies and/or computer science experienceAt least 2 years of experience leading new technologies or specialized technologies

OR

PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer ScienceAt least 5 years of experience in product design/development or new technologies or specialized technologies and/or computer science experienceAt least 2 years of experience leading new technologies or specialized technologies Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
