**Description** SAIC is seeking a multiple levels of **Vehicle Integration Technician's** for our customer site in **Charleston, SC** to support the **US Navy** to complete vehicle integration tasks to include cable routing, metal work installations, and technical support to integrate, install, modify, and perform upgrades in support of C5ISR systems. **JOB DESCRIPTION:** + Perform moderate to complex vehicle integration tasks to include cable routing, metal work installations, and technical support to integrate, install, modify, and perform upgrades in support of C5ISR systems + Read and follow integration documentation, written or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, drawings and diagrams, layouts, and plans often requiring interpretation + Provide occasional assistance to related support areas, including but not limited to kitting and warehouse operations **Qualifications** **REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** + High School Diploma + Knowledge of hand and power tools + Mechanically inclined **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** + Must be able to lift, pull, push and carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a regular basis + Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, sit, stand or squat for extended periods + Must be able to walk distances of at least one-half mile daily + Must be able to repeatedly manipulate and handle objects needed for cable fabrication, including reaching, grasping, twisting, turning and operating equipment and tools + Must be able to move and arrange heavy cable supplies and electronic equipment + Must be able to handle and use tools needed for installing electronics and metal work into vehicles Familiar with the use and operation of power tools is required **REQUIRED CLEARANCE:** + Must be able to obtain a Public Trust; SAIC will help to obtain; Active DoD Clearance accepted + Must be a current U.S. Citizen SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
