Reports to: Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities: Photography of Vehicles: Capture high-quality images of vehicles for marketing, documentation, and presentation purposes. Ensure images highlight the best features of each vehicle and meet branding and quality standards. Photo Editing and Enhancement: Edit and enhance photos using professional software to adjust lighting, color, and composition. Apply branding elements, such as watermarks or logos, as required. Organization and File Management: Maintain an organized digital library of vehicle photos, ensuring easy access for internal use. Label and catalog images accurately to match vehicle specifications. Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with production to meet their photography needs. Coordinate schedules for vehicle shoots, ensuring minimal disruption to production workflows. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain cameras, lenses, and other photography equipment in optimal condition. Ensure backup systems and memory storage are secure and reliable. Content Creation: Assist with creating visual content for social media, brochures, and digital platforms, as needed. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education or training in photography or a related field is an asset. Experience: Previous experience in photography, particularly in automotive or product photography, is preferred. License: Minimum of a G2 Driver’s License (valid in Ontario). Driving Record: Clean driver’s abstract with no major infractions. Background Check: Clean criminal background check. Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada. Location: Must be able to commute to Mississauga, Ontario. Availability: Minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed. Skills and Attributes: Photography Proficiency: Strong skills in composition, lighting, and use of DSLR cameras or similar professional equipment. Editing Expertise: Proficiency in photo editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or equivalent. Detail-Oriented: Keen eye for details to ensure vehicles are presented in their best light. Creative: Ability to create visually appealing images that align with branding and marketing goals. Organized: Strong organizational skills for managing photo libraries and schedules. Team-Oriented: Works collaboratively with various teams to meet deadlines and project goals. Physically Fit: Able to set up and move equipment, and work in various physical positions during photoshoots. Work Environment: Physical Demands: Frequent standing, bending, and equipment setup.
