Vehicle Testing Supervisor
Day-to-day responsibility for, or provide support on, projects that generate new products, processes and understanding of commercial value to JM. Contributes to the improvement of the team or processes within JM.Job purpose

This role leads internal (mainly) and external CVS (vehicle emission) testing

Principal accountabilitiesEHS performance of responsible areaHelp Application and Product Development etc. teams to understand traditional ICE and PHEV/REEV vehicle tailpipe emission characteristics and emission calibration strategyImproved testing accuracy and reduce multiples tests for one systemDevelop new test methods together with internal teams and external customersAUs etc. KPIs of CVS cellAnnual operational cost within budgetPeople development

ScopeEHS performance of responsible areaAUs etc. KPIs of CVS cell, testing quality of outsourcing CVS testing under JM’s controlDevelopment of new testing method/protocol to support internal/external requirementAnnual operational cost, initiate and drive operational cost reduction projectsPeople development

Qualifications/ knowledge/ experience

Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering etc.Fully conversant in MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Experience working with catalyst testing, especially vehicle emission tests and emission calibrations.Experience working in a busy office environment.Experience of working in fast paced, changing environment.
