We are currently seeking a Vendor Management to join our team in Belen, Heredia (CR-H), Costa Rica (CR).

 

Position overview

This position is an integral part of Network and Voice Services. Services functions are responsible for the end-to-end service ownership for their domain, including the total cost of ownership, service quality and responsiveness. This includes management of processes designed to improve the customer experience, increase productivity, and strengthen controls.  In support of this goal, the Telecom Expense Management team is searching for a candidate responsible to manage the relations with the providers to guarantee the Service Level Agreement (SLA).

 

Position's General Duties and Tasks:

Manage SLA breaches by analyzing service downtimes versus contractual clauses and claiming credits in return. Conduct regular meetings to review the service KPI’s. Review and conciliate the network inventory. Support the operational areas in case of escalations during the Incident Management process. Identification of chronic problems and lead the root cause analysis with the carrier and operational teams. Manage service improvement plans to improve stability.

 

Qualifications

Must have Skills:

Experience in the lifecycle of incidents and related metrics. Proficient knowledge of telecommunications products and services Strong understanding of Technology Infrastructure environment and Products Understanding of the various telecom offerings (extranet, point to point, cross connect etc.) Advanced knowledge working with Microsoft Office and the use of queries. Experience visualizing, creating, and maintaining useful metrics that assist with operational oversight and identify areas of improvement. Have good communication, presentation, and analytical skills with the ability to articulate to stakeholders Understand the importance of prioritization of work.

Nice to have, but not required:

Preferred 3+ years’ experience in managing projects, with proven ability to influence others without direct authority ITIL Certification is a plus. Experience working with JIRA and Confluence. Portuguese knowledge is a plus. Project Management certifications are a plus

 

Education Requirements

B.S./B.A. degree level, although relevant experience and strong track record is more important.
