Vendor Management Operational Resilience Consultant

Reporting to the Capital Markets Risk and Resiliency manager, this is a first line role within the Capital Markets business which will support Capital Markets Operational Resiliency and Third Party Risk  programs.

This role will closely interact with the Asset Servicing Operational Resiliency office to support adherence to the Corporate Risk Policy and help ensure that Third Party risks are appropriately managed, evidenced and escalated as needed.

The opportunity includes engagement with different stakeholders across the organization including senior leaders.

Therefore, excellent communication skills and knowledge of the Capital Markets business are essential.  

 Key Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day activities to alignment of the Operational Resiliency and Third Party Risk programsSupport local regulatory and audit engagements pertaining to Operational Resiliency and Third Party Risk; this includes supporting remediation activitiesParticipate in analysis of important business services including defining scope of critical operations, interdependency analysis,  impact tolerance, vulnerability assessment to identify material points of failure, develop action plans to remediate vulnerabilities, and test readiness of critical operations through severe but plausible scenariosSupports Senior team members in first level review of internal and external Third-Party Risk related events and issues, to ensure that the root cause is adequately identified and remediation actions are fit for purposeMay include leading and supporting creation and recertification for Enterprise Critical Vendor (ECV) exit strategy and tabletop discussionsPartner with internal stakeholders (legal, compliance, procurement and business units) to ensure vendor engagements align with third-party risk framework and regulatory expectationsSupport the implementation of the Capital Markets strategy by participating in special projects

 Knowledge/Skills

Knowledge of operational resiliency including disaster/business recovery, business continuity management, 3rd party vendor/outsourcing, corporate risk policies and standards Strong understanding of Capital Markets is preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organization, attention to detail, time management, planning skills and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities Proven tacker record of being able to prioritise and complete deliverables on timeProven experience in operational resiliency, third party risk management or Capital Markets
