We are seeking an experienced and strategic vendor management professional to oversee the selection, onboarding, offboarding, management, and performance of external vendors and service providers for Key’s Institutional Bank. This role ensures that all vendors meet the organizations standards for quality, compliance, risk management, and most importantly value add to our business users. The Vendor Management Analyst supports by engaging managers, users, and vendors to ensure the Third-Party Management (TPM) Program elements are completed accurately. This position is also responsible for facilitating onsite audits, assistance with risk assessments, collection of documentation, and completion of action items and engagement reviews.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Develop and cultivate positive relationships with vendors.Central point of contact for vendor partner relationships.Support procurement team in contract negotiations with third-party vendors to secure optimal terms and conditions that align with company goals.Serve as the primary subject matter expert on vendor management tools, providing insights and support to the line of business.Delivers excellent customer service quality through resolving stakeholder requests, concerns and issue regarding the third-party management (TPM) process, system navigation and specific engagement details.Address and resolve issues related to vendor tools, working closely with users to troubleshoot and implement solutions.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify contract terms and address any concerns or discrepancies.Schedules or leads periodic stakeholder training and onboarding sessions to promote program adherence and understanding.Updates third party management GRC system with information obtained or requiring modification from the validation meeting and perform periodic reassessments as necessary.Manage relationships with third party vendors in partnership with other departments throughout the bankCollaborate with procurement and finance teams to facilitate onboarding of new contracts and renewals for third-party engagements.Work together with other departments within the company to facilitate the timely resolution of escalated issues and challenges.Evaluate the necessity for a new vendor tool by identifying any overlaps with existing solutions.Partner closely with procurement and TPM teams to select the best vendors based on requirements and budget.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related fieldExperience in the banking, strategic sourcing, or vendor managementAbility to adapt to a fast paced and detail-oriented environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong knowledge of MS Office products including SharePoint, Teams, Excel, etc.PREFERRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with Archer Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) tool.Familiarity with Salesforce relationship management tool.Oversee the day-to-day management of vendor partners ensuring performance objectives are met.Central point of contact for vendor partner relationshipsMonitor vendor performance post-negotiation to ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms and conditions.Provide timely and effective communication to team members to ensure awareness and commitment to department and corporate initiatives.Gain a thorough understanding of contract details and ensure compliance with all terms and usage restrictions.Monitor usage and login reports to monitor service effectiveness and contractual usage policies.Ensure team members adhere to department policies and procedures to support the company’s culture.Ensure regulatory requirements are met for team members.Evaluate and assess vendor performance and compliance.
