Location/Division Specific Information

Our Global Clinical Supplies (GCS) team specializes in managing the complete lifecycle of clinical trial materials, ensuring the seamless delivery of investigational products and study supplies worldwide. Leveraging an extensive network of cGMP facilities, the GCS team offers services that include packaging, labeling, global distribution, and compliance with complex import and export regulations. Their expertise ensures that clinical trial materials are handled efficiently and in accordance with regulatory standards, supporting the successful execution of clinical studies

Shift Schedule: Rotational Day Shift and Mid ShiftDay Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PMMid Shift: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Discover Impactful Work:

A Vendor Management Specialist provides complete oversight of vendor supply chain for moderate complexity clinical trials in single or more than one region. Selects and contracts with appropriate vendors for scope of client's study and provides financial control and oversight of pass through budgets.

A day in the Life:Identifies the scope of third party vendors required to support clinical trails.Oversight of contracting with vendors, including legal and contract modifications, where required.Ensures all activities are executed in compliance with company practices, client requirements and GxP.Provides financial management of vendor pass through costs.Identifies risks proactively, develops contingency plans, and communicates to stakeholders.Oversight of inverse logistics processes, including returns, destruction, and recalibration activities.Participates in GCS mini team meetings, providing insight about vendors processes and procedures, costs, timelines, requirements and deliverables.Maintains close collaboration of I/E activities to ensure that appropriate regulations are followed for all countries imports and exports.Keys to Success:EducationBachelor's Degree related to Supply Chain, Business Administration or Management, or EngineeringExperiencePrevious experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years)Preferably with minimum 5 years proven experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, and, Vendor Management.Must have atleast 2 years experience in leading a team, and/or mentoring or coaching junior colleagues.Preferably working experience working with international vendorsKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesExcellent English communication skills, written and oralExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong organizational, planning and time management skillsStrong customer service orientation and attention to detail aligned with high standards of quality and excellenceAdaptive to changes and ability to manage high pressure situationsExperience of managing vendorsSupply chain experience, preferably with clinical trials or pharmaceutical industryImport/Export experienceProcurement experienceGxP experienceMay coordinate or serve as a liaison cross-functionallyPhysical Requirements / Work Environment Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Frequently interacts with others to obtain or relate information to diverse groups. Works independently with little guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions and plans work schedules to meet goals.
