Vendor Manager, EU AMS
Description Amazon After Market Services is seeking a Vendor Manager to be a key member of the Customer Repair team and take part in delivering our "go big" plan to rapidly expand repair availability and improve customer experience. The successful candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners across the EU Retail organization, as well external brand and repair partners. This role will deliver the expansion of repair availability by being the subject matter expert for repair directly in discussions with brand partners, and by supporting those discussions at scale across Retail account management teams. The ideal candidate will be analytical and creative, seeking out new approaches to interacting with a broad range of partners, and leading both through direct ownership as well as through influence. Strong interpersonal skills are also important as the position will have frequent interaction with senior leadership at Amazon and partner companies. Base pay for this position starts from EUR 2300+ gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements, there will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card, career development Key job responsibilities • Build trust quickly with external partners. • Become an expert on repair processes, benefits, and priorities. • Own the successful end-to-end completion of partner discussions to enable repair, and subsequent onboarding of repair partners. • Identify and execute on opportunities for improving materials and mechanisms that drive repair expansion and repair customer experience at scale. • Lead and participate in strategic projects, including data analysis, process improvements, new tech product launches, and geographic expansion. • Innovate on behalf of the business and develop best practices • Report on KPIs and projects to senior leadership, and manage escalations Basic Qualifications • Experience with business development or account management, or technical account management in a rapidly growing environment • A track record of delivering results – expanding the business while maintaining a high bar for customer experience • Strong focus on bias for action, overcoming hurdles and driving progress • A passion for finding opportunities to innovate and scale • Ability to influence peers and stakeholders • Highly tech-literate, with ability to learn new systems quickly • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to manage multiple priorities • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Degree in business, engineering, or another relevant field Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge of SQL • Familiarity with Amazon Retail or Customer Returns processes Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
