Vendor Operations Lead, sponsor-dedicated (home-based)
**Job Overview** All **Vendor Operation Lead** will be responsible to support the operations of the VPG group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in **Quality Assurance (QA)** and **Health Authority Inspections** . **Main responsibilities:** • Drive and coordinate the creation of Novartis standards and guidelines with support from VPG team members and Country Organization. • Oversee and manage VPG operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities for improvement and in support of VPG objectives and initiatives. • Ensure implementation of standards, templates, tools, and processes for vendor risk assessment & selection. • Drive consistency and compliance with VPG SOPs to ensure supplier documentation and assessments are accurate and compliant with current regulations and quality modules. • Lead the creation of standard templates (ex. charters, quality plans/agreements, trackers, reports, communication tools, etc) and any maintenance for VPG team and Country Organization to support consistency and compliance with VPG SOPs, governance, and operations. • Manage and monitor the collection and analysis of Key Performance / Key Quality Indicators (KPIs/KQIs) for third party data for VPG. • Function as a subject matter expert for assessing any new process or standard needs for third party compliance and risk management. • Identify compliance and quality trends in collaboration with External Relationship Management Team (ERMT) assess opportunities to improve process performance with key third parties. • Participate in continuous process improvement and harmonization across VPG, key stakeholders, and Country organizations to ensure compliance with all Novartis policies and procedures • Facilitate and coordinate communication and training to support the VPG team and Country Organizations on new systems, processes, and infrastructure. • Support VPG team and Country Organization with standardization of operational third-party management activities in support of inspections, audits, analytics and new processes. • Partner closely with global quality and local country contacts to ensure SOPs/Working Practices are in place for global and trial level third party management and timely training and adherence is maintained within VPG, Country Organizations and cross-functionally, as required. • Ensure VPG procedures align with Global and Local policies, Systems and Processes. • Collaboration with Country Organization and key stakeholders ( to ensure robust processes are defined and in place for third party management. • Ensure communication and training on all systems, processes, and operations to the VPG team and Country organizations. • Liase with regulatory and quality to ensure any new regulations are documented in processes and ensure high quality performance from third parties **Qualifications** • Bachelor's Degree in health care or other scientific discipline required. • Excellent communication skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language. • Previous experience in: project management, QA and Health Authority Inspections. • Attention to detail and accuracy in work. • Results-oriented approach to work delivery and output. • Good influencing and negotiation skills. Good judgment and decision-making skills.
