Vendor Operations Manager, Platforms and Ecosystems

Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5 years of experience in global supply chain management, agreement facilitation, and procurement.
Preferred qualifications:
+ MBA or Master's degree in a technical or engineering field.
+ 3 years of experience collaborating and working cross-functionally with Engineering and Product teams.
+ 3 years of experience working and partnering with supplier management at a global scale.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication, sourcing, consulting, and collaboration skills.
Our team is a central vendor operations team across Google. We partner with stakeholders across various Product Areas and provide support including but not limited to operations consulting, vendor management, operational reporting and analytics, drive cross-PA programs and help operationalize Product’s goal in a compliant and scalable manner. The overarching objective of our team is to augment the productivity of our stakeholders. Furthermore, we endeavor to introduce economies of scale, enhance operational efficiency, and exercise thorough operational diligence. These objectives are realized through the deployment of cutting-edge vendor operations.
As a member of this team, your primary responsibilities will involve deep data immersion, analysis-driven insights extraction, and a broader perspective to formulate coherent and strategic recommendations. You will actively engage in the development and execution of high-impact supplier programs, encompassing cost negotiations, supplier performance management, and assessment of your recommendations' outcomes through follow-ups.
This position presents an opportunity to join a central business operations office serving various organizations at an early stage, with a focus on enhancing productivity and efficiency across Google.
+ Identify opportunities to transform a less mature workflow to a mature operation, and implement metrics around quality, cost and efficiencies.
+ Work closely with various internal groups to understand business requirements, implement new processes, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
+ Drive economies of scale, enhance operational efficiency, and exercise thorough operational diligence. Ensure all aspects of vendor SLAs are consistently met (Backlog, AHT, agent utilization, etc).
+ Create scalable processes and workflows aimed towards creating efficiencies through centralization of activities. Participate and provide thought leadership in operational planning activities in coordination with internal teams.
+ Support vendor selection, negotiations, contracting, on-boarding and overall vendor operations strategy.
