Vendor Relations Liaison
## Position Summary The Vendor RelationsLiaisonservesas a key resource in evaluating the logistical and performance capabilities of ourCasella’s network ofvendors\. This roleis responsible forestablishingand maintaining robust vendormonitoringsystems, including service level agreements, operational audits, and performance surveys, to ensure consistent delivery of high\-quality service and regulatory compliance\. With a focus on continuous improvement,theLiaisonactively seeks opportunities to learn from vendor interactions, industry trends, and operational data\. This inquisitive approach supports the development of innovative vendor management strategies that enhance customer satisfaction, reduce environmental impact, and drive operational excellence\. Pay range: $59,000\-$70,000 based on experience\. ## Key Responsibilities Develops vendorrelationship strategies andimplementation\. Assessesvendors and end sites toestablishcapabilities, equipment,systems,processes,andcapacityusingastandardrubric\. Buildlasting customerrelationshipswith vendors by creating mutually beneficial relationships and superior service\. Maintains vendor communicationtoensurecompliancewithcontractual commitments\. Assistsindeveloping and implementing process improvement solutions related to vendor processes\. Researchvendors and supplierstoidentifysolutionsto meet customer\-specificneeds and servicecriteria\. Travelsto and meetswithvendors andend sites toidentifysystems, including capabilities, equipment, andcapacityavailability\. Evaluates proposals/quotes based on offering quality, cost, or other criteria and recommends supplierswhocomply withinternal policies and external regulations\. Maintains contact with vendors to manage the status and quality of orders and the progress toward contractual commitments\. Collaboratewith Account Managers,theSourcing Team, and vendorstoestablishMaster ServiceAgreements\(MSA\)and/orother vendoragreements\. Works on the development of vendor relationship strategies and planning/execution of theappropriate governancestructure to ensure continuous improvement in service and quality\. Assistswith developing and implementing process improvement solutions related to vendor processes Participatein training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company and its products and services, andperformany other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values\. ## Education, Experience & Qualifications A Bachelor's degree is required, with 2–4 years of relevant experience and increasing responsibilities; an advanced degree is preferred\. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, possess excellent relationship management, listening, communication, and problem\-solving skills, and have a proven ability to identify innovative solutions\. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential\. Experience with vendor management tools—such as service level agreements, audits, and surveys—is required to ensure compliance, efficiency, and outstanding customer service\. An interest or background in the environmental and/or sustainability field is highly desirable\.
