Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and diligent Vendor Relationship Manager to join our team to support of the restaurant technology and innovations deployed in over 13,500 US McDonald’s restaurants. In this role, you will support the management of vendor relationships, ensuring that our suppliers deliver high-quality products and services that meet our business needs. You will be responsible for several technology investment initiatives and the supplier training program. A successful candidate will have effective communication, skilled at supervising and tracking SLA performance, and supporting the overall vendor management strategy.
This position will combine Project Management practices and create deployment process while implementing them with Suppliers and supervise their progress and support their execution. This individual will have the responsibility of supervising and motivating both internal, outsourced / contractor, and Supplier teams, enabling them to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner and to deliver high-end quality solutions.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Engage with the Hardware Certification team, Field stakeholders, Vendors, the OTP Program and Operators to craft, prepare, communicate and implement onsite hardware investment initiativesAbility to provide Supplier Training Program’s overall vision and structure in addition to project activities such as schedule, issue management, communications, etc.Must have executive leadership presence, the ability to understand objectives, drive the team to Project completion and present project plans and timelines to partners and Leadership committees.Collaborate and build positive relationships and alignment with vendors including training, documentation, and support matters to ensure rapid and repeatable process.Forecast hardware and manages inventory level with Suppliers/Vendors in support of onsite deployment plans and recognize areas of opportunity for improvementsBenefits eligible: Yes

The expected salary range for this role is $112,860- $143,900 per year

Bachelor’s Degree required.
Sophisticated experience with Microsoft Office Applications
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SmartSheets
Superb communication, presentation and social skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in easy-to-understand business friendly language
Ability to understand business challenges, drive process improvements and translate into solutions
Hardworking facilitator who leads strategy creation and planning discussions
Basic understanding of supply chain and vendor management principles
Meticulous, with excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
Creative problem solver able to look to the future beyond the way things have typically been done
Work with cross-functional and external teams throughout the life of the project to ensure alignment from development, deployment, and support
Evaluate McDonald’s technology suppliers and communicate opportunities to improve restaurant technology
Partner with McDonald’s owner operators, suppliers, and internal teams to advocate for innovation and modernize our restaurant technology vendor portfolio
Understand McDonalds business requirements to help produce quality outcomes and adapt to new challenges as they arise
