The Vendor Risk Analyst reports locally to the Vendor Risk Manager in MBPS and supports the Sr. Director, Vendor Governance Management in Canada (Business Unit) and is responsible for ensuring effective risk management of the Company’s vendors globally.
As a critical element of the first line of defense, the Vendor Risk Analyst will monitor and manage vendor risk through an effective risk assessment of the Procurement intake requests.
The incumbent will conduct pre-screening questionnaire with the business to determine if the risk rating is either stable or not.
This person will also support in mailbox management, Archer management; managing Archer requests, access control, data alignment and reporting, producing KRI, financial, or any other required reports for the Vendor Governance team.
The incumbent will have deep understanding of relevant risk management principles and best practices, ensuring compliance to the Company’s Outsourcing and Third-Party Risk Management Policy.

Key Responsibilities:
Conducts vendor risk assessmentsOwn the Intake process at the Vendor Governance level, by actioning intakes, risk stratifying requests, managing customer requests, replying as the face of the Vendor Governance ManagersUnderstanding probingAssess complexity and risk level of the project/request submitted to the intake tool and decide right procurement process for the need and understanding which SME is to be involved.Interact with the business owners, Subject Matter Experts and senior management, in view of completing the pre-screening questions in a timely manner;Understand the end-to-end procurement process as well as integration points to ensure business requests are addressed efficiently by each team and bottlenecks are avoided.Actively monitors Ivalua Intake Tool to ensure business needs were accurately captured from start to finishDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for their role.Stay informed about the latest developments in the vendor risk management field.Perform any other job-related instructions, as requested.Provide access management functions for the Third-Party Risk ModuleEnsure Third-Party Risk Module data alignment and accuracyResponsible for developing, analyzing, reporting for VGM operations; Example: KRI data, Financial Risk, etc.Implement controls on processes that ensure data integrity and accuracy across the entire reporting workflowActively monitor and manage VGM Various Mailboxes; VGM, Archer Admin, Vendor Incident Management to ensure business needs were accurately captured from start to finishQualifications:
• 2+ years' experience in vendor management or third-party risk, Corporate Procurement or Contact Center with experience delivering reports to stakeholders 3+ years in a professional environment
• Graduate of 4-year degree
• Knowledge of risk and control practices, procedures and principles
• Excellent communication (written and spoken) and problem-solving capability
• Highly engaged with strong interpersonal skills and service-oriented attitude to stakeholders and customers
• A high degree of organizational skills, ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands and the ability to complete tasks under strict timelines is required.
• Strong PC skills and proficiency with MS Excel, Powerpoint Word, and Sharepoint
• Attentive to details and quality, well-organized, innovative and result driven;
• Self-starter with high level of initiative; Exercises good judgement; Operates in a professional and ethical manner with customers and vendors;
• Ability to work in the night shift
