The ethics@mcdermott.com email will not accept any resumes. **Job Overview:** Reports to the Commissioning Manager and manages all Vendor Support during the Construction, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up, and Performance Testing of the facility to achieve the plant’s production and performance objectives and McDermott’s contractual objectives. Responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating the mobilization of Vendors at the Site for both technical supervision and training requirements on a Central Processing Facility in Africa. Responsible for vendor timesheets, reports, and record keeping, in accordance with policies and procedures. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities:** • Work collaboratively within the Project team and with the Client to maintain positive relationships • Liaise with the Commissioning Manager to ensure the mobilization of the Vendors is in accordance with the Vendors Representative Schedule • Responsible for developing a Vendor Training Plan for the facility • Develop a list of all Vendor contacts • Responsible to contact Vendors for intervention activation • Upon arrival at the Site ensure the Site Induction is completed for all Vendors • Arrange a KO meeting at the Site between the Vendor and/or Construction & Commissioning teams • Set up the Training Centre for the Vendor Training and provide administrative support to the Vendor during the training sessions • Ensure the Vendor has submitted all training presentation material in advance • Liaise with the Company Training Coordinator for the ongoing effectiveness of the Vendor Training Program • Responsible for the collation of records to support the Vendor Training Program • Responsible for the collation of Vendor timesheets and close-out reports • Direct and coordinate all expediting activities • Can initiate working on tasks without being told to • Liaise with Project Supply Chain Management and Package Managers / Engineers **Essential Qualifications & Education:** • Associate degree (or equivalent) in relevant discipline or equivalent on-the-job experience • 3 years of lead or supervisory work experience dealing with Vendors and Training Programs • 5+ years of relevant experience ideally with an EPC Contractor in the oil & gas industry • An experience in the Supply Chain is an added value • Demonstrates a broad technical knowledge of construction and commissioning activities • Able to effectively communicate solutions and concepts to other engineers and non-engineers • Must have strong English communication skills, both oral and written. Second language is a plus • Must have excellent computer software skills in MS Office suite as a minimum • Must have good Presentation skills for meetings with Vendors, Site Management, and Client • Must have excellent organizational skills and be adaptable to various needs of various discipline groups • Ability to interact with Vendors and Clients, ability to deal with people independent of the hierarchical, professional, or social level, influence constructively, and demonstrate respect for individuality, understanding, and coexistence \#LI-JS1 Our ingenuity fuels daily life.
