Basic Function:

Set up and clear tables, stock all service stations and assist food servers with table service to ensure total guest satisfaction in a professional & courteous manner.

 

Work Performed:

Prepare any necessary set up to perform the job properly. (Complete side-work)Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly, quietly and consistently reset all service ware as prescribed.Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.Serve guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary.  Service should be in a friendly and courteous manner.Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.Keep the workstation clean.Read all memos.Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products asassigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.Folding napkins for all meal periods throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply.Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills, or special guest requests, to ensure total guest satisfaction.Remove the garbage bags/bin from restaurants and bar.Report your supervisor before ending your shift.All other projects as by management.

     Responsibility & Authority

Complete knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.Basic knowledge of food & beverage menusAbility to understand verbal English to comprehend basic guest requests. Ability to understand written English to read any caution or safety notices.Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 45 lbs. through a crowded room.Work efficiently & as a team Knowledge of resort layoutObserve all safety procedures during the execution of assigned duties.Practice standard  10-5-3 ruleObserve all resort policies regarding uniform, hygiene and grooming.

  

     Minimum requirements:

       Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Prior hospitality experience preferred. Needs to be flexible, self-motivated, and positive and have a professional attitude towards guests, co-worker and management.  Must also be able to perform all related duties as assigned.
