**Venue Operations Administrator** **Job Details** **Job Location** Unity School of Christianity - Unity Village, MO **Position Type** Full Time **Salary Range** $60,000.00 Salary/year **Description** **Position Summary:** The Venue Operations Administrator is responsible for keeping the team of venue coordinators organized to ensure successful event execution, efficient venue operations, and seamless collaboration with other departments. This role is responsible for managing event paperwork, coordinating team schedules, and fostering effective communication to deliver a high-quality client experience. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have strong leadership skills, and possess the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. **Essential Job Functions:** **Event Coordination** 1. Provides guidance and support to venue coordinators to optimize team performance and event execution. 2. Maintains and forecast schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor workload to ensure adequate coverage for all events. 3. Serve as liaison to the sales, operations, and client services teams to understand client expectations and ensure all event logistics align with requirements. 4. Communicate setup, execution, and breakdown for events, ensuring adherence to standards, timelines, and safety protocols. 5. Act as the primary point of contact for any venue-related issues during events, ensuring timely resolution of issues. 6. Maintain and organize all event paperwork, including contracts, permits, invoices, and schedules. 7. Ensure compliance with venue policies, procedures, and relevant legal or safety standards. 8. Track event budgets, expenses, and resource allocation, providing reports as needed. 9. Serve as a liaison between the venue coordinators and other departments to ensure smooth communication and alignment of goals. 10. Collaborate with operations, sales, and facilities teams to meet client needs and ensure seamless coordination. 11. Provide regular updates to the Operations Director regarding team performance, event success, and any areas requiring attention. **Other job requirements** 1. Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work weekends to meet the needs of the client and internal teams. 2. Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures per the guidebook including all safety requirements. 3. Utilize electronic time management system to input time, attendance and paid off request. 4. Must represent and express the mission, vision and values of Unity World Headquarters. 5. This is not a remote position although you are able to work from home on occasion with your supervisor’s approval. **Non-Essential Job Functions** . 1. Demonstrates the ability to positively influence other departments by proactively building relationships with events team as well as security, food services, special services, communications, etc. 2. Serve as back up to assigned events and retreats, and support team in executing events. **Qualifications** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred. **Experience and Skills:** 1. Three years of experience in supervising events or venue coordination teams. 2. Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills. 3. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. 4. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. 5. Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings or weekends, if required by client needs. **Computer Skills:** Proficient end user of MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
