Reporting to the President of TraceGains, the Director, Veralto Enterprise System (VES) for TraceGains is responsible for driving continuous improvement globally across the operating company.
The role is responsible for promoting and leading implementation of the VES for the entire operating company with focus in Commercial, Innovation and Fundamentals. TraceGains has been recently acquired (October 2024) and, as such, it is critical for the VESL to introduce the relevant VES tools and processes at the right pace and rigor, so that they can drive results while building a natural followership with a thoughtful, intentional adoption rate. Our new VES leader is someone who will be results-driven with a proven ability to partner with President and L1 leaders to identify valuable problems, manage change, and drive impact using VES tools.
The role also has the responsibility of helping elevate the VES capability across the leadership team and in the organization and continuing the journey of continuous improvement culture which is a strategic advantage for Veralto and is part of our Core Behaviors.
**VES Leadership**
+ Establish close partnership with President to drive targeted, sustainable improvement across the company ensuring the business has the ongoing capability to deliver on its strategy, Core Value Drivers (CVDs) and business critical KPIs.
+ A key member of the L1 leadership team responsible for defining, developing, and leading the strategy design and overall implementation of VES Capability and VES Certification roadmap.
+ Aligned with the President, take ownership of L1 Operating Review agendas and driving high quality and impactful senior (Ops and PD) reviews.
+ Responsible for leading and executing VES processes and tools through their work with associates and management - guiding, coaching, and providing resources as needed.
+ Champion using key VES fundamentals—daily management, standard work, and problem-solving.
+ Assist VES office / Platform leadership in Policy Deployment (PD) workshop installs with linkage to the strategic plan and key breakthroughs.
+ Drive VES immersion and continued development for L1 leaders.
+ Lead a VES organization that will directly provide formal and informal VES training and coaching. Improve VES training and facilitation by pursuing certification in VES tools for self and others.
+ Consult with senior leaders about the pain points in their functions and determine how VES can be applied.
**Build Capability / Deliver Results**
+ VES Assessment:
+ Develop annual operating company improvement roadmap, aligned with the strategic plan, for VES Capability with a prioritized Action Plan.
+ Review Action Plan progress with President and L1 leaders. Lead deployment and sustainment
+ Kaizen Funnel, Calendar, and Sustainment Tracking (bowler):
+ Ensure Kaizen requirements met – prework completed with the quality needed to set the team up for success, transform process within week, ensure sustainment of the change for long term impact
+ Include Shin, President, and any Kaizens critical to driving L1 KPIs and PD
+ Review during L1 Ops reviews (and appropriate L2 Ops reviews) to ensure resources are being deployed to the highest priority kaizens and that sustainment of the results is achieved
+ Cascade funnel process to all sites & functions
+ PD Matrix, Action Plans, KPI Bowlers, Problem Solving Process
+ Act as process steward: facilitate setup workshops, reflections, etc.
+ Drive 'Productive Tension' during PD Meetings to encourage appropriate and sustainable use of VES, ensure ongoing cadence/rigor
+ Facilitates operating company strategy enablement process to ensure initiatives are funded, resourced and run with process rigor to achieve sustainable results
+ Go to Gemba to Audit existing processes and systems to assess and determine actions required for improvements.
+ Communicate and drive VES best practices across the business.
+ Lead the creation, improvement, and deployment of continuous improvement processes, best practices, and tools
**The essential requirements of the job include:**
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business (MBA preferred).
+ Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience leading various lean processes in different functions
+ Expertise in Continuous Improvement – Applying lean principles to innovation is a big plus!
+ A passion for experimentation & transformation – You embrace change, challenge the status quo, and drive meaningful improvements.
+ Exceptional leadership & communication skills – Ability to engage teams across diverse functions and global markets.
+ Experience developing & delivering training (both virtual & in-person).
+ Ability to be a positive team player, willing to grow and change
+ Travel required (~40% of time) for department meetings, workshop and kaizens, all company events, in-person seminars/networking events, etc.
+ Successful completion of a drug and background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
