Job Description

Understanding Software Interface Requirements, including the interface requirements between software and hardware, is crucial for the development of electronic control units (ECUs). Collaborating closely with software developers is essential to ensure that all software requirements are comprehensively defined and met.

Developing Test Specifications based on these requirements. This includes designing a robust test framework and independent libraries to automate various functionalities. Once the test framework is in place, tests are executed according to the specifications, and integration within the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) toolchain is ensured.

Building, developing, and Managing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) Systems are key responsibilities. These systems facilitate the simulation and testing of ECUs in a virtual environment, enhancing the reliability and accuracy of the tests.

Streamlining and Automating Workflows to enable efficient operation. Continuous improvements are made to the environment and reduction in manual interventions.

Ensuring Quality Through Testing is a critical task. Any anomalies observed during testing are meticulously reported to ensure they are addressed promptly. Continuous Integration Software Testing is implemented to maintain the quality of new releases, ensuring that each iteration of the software meets the required standards before deployment.

Qualifications

Experience

Experience in Software Development & programming, either model-based development with Matlab/Simulink or hand code like C/C++, Python is desirable.Proficiency with Diagnosis Tools: CANoe/CANalyzer/CANape, ControlDesk, AutomationTest.Analytic and Testing Skills to handle complex systems, review software and functions in the automotive area. Plan test strategies, execute tests and represent results including suggestions for improvement.Strong awareness of Quality-Oriented, Standard Compliant work after development process for safety critical systems.Automotive Industry Experience.

Knowledge

Desirable Tool Knowledge: MATLAB/Simulink, NI, dSPACE.Familiarity with Bus Protocols and Standards: CAN-Bus, I2C, SPI or other bus protocol. Knowledge on V-Model, SPICE, ASIL and MISRA.Education: completed studies Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or comparable.Languages: fluent Japanese, with English being a plus.
