About the role
Are you passionate about large defence projects? Babcock Australasia are seeking an experienced V&V Manager to help deliver our largest-ever contract to date, set to equip the Australian Defence Force with leading-edge capability.
As a Verification and Validation (V&V) Manager at Babcock, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of V&V activities across the program. Leading a dedicated team, you will provide management and technical oversight to ensure that all verification and validation processes meet the required scope, quality, and technical outcomes.
This is a leadership role that requires strong technical expertise, strategic planning, and the ability to guide a team toward delivering high-quality V&V outcomes in a complex engineering environment.
About you
You are a skilled engineering professional with a strong background in Verification and Validation (V&V), bringing expertise in managing technical investigations, analysis, and decision-making in complex projects.
With proven leadership experience, you excel at guiding teams to deliver high-quality V&V activities across all phases of a program.
In addition to your technical expertise, you are an effective communicator, capable of providing clear progress reports and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Your ability to manage teams and ensure the successful execution of V&V activities makes you a valuable asset in delivering complex engineering programs.
To be successful in this position you will bring:
Extensive experience in V&V engineering roles Previous experience in managing an engineering function An excellent understanding of applicable engineering toolsets (e.g. PLM or MRP systems, design, simulation and analysis software) Hold an accredited/relevant Engineering Degree Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Commonwealth Defence Security Clearance, as defined by AGSVA guidelines
