The group "Suspension Control System" within Vehicle Dynamics sub stream, residing in the "Vehicle Motion and Thermal Management" technology stream, is responsible for the development of the suspension control systems for all truck brands within Volvo Group as well as Volvo Bus. We are looking for a highly motivated engineer to strengthen our team in the Suspension Control software development area.
Who are you?You have been creative with a mindset to learn and improve. As a part of an agile team, you are a team player and enjoy teamwork, but you are also able to work independently and drive development on your own. You have a good understanding of system development of embedded real time systems. Good Good communication and presentation skills both in text and verbally. You have a sense of responsibility with business and customer oriented. You most likely have a genuine automotive interest.
To be successful in this role, we believe that you have the following background and qualification :
M.Sc. degree in Mechatronics, Control engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or similar. Good knowledge in Mechatronics, Mechanical engineering, Control engineering Familiar with tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer Tools used, CT Studio, GIT, Vector DaVinci, CANoe & CANalyzer, SystemWeaver(SE-TOOL), PN-tool Knowledge in C#, C++, Volvo Tools, architecture, ISO26262, Python are beneficial. What's in it for you?
We are looking for a highly motivated engineer to strengthen our team in the Suspension Control SW Verification area.
As a verification engineer within our team, you will be one of the four focusing on verification. One part of the work will be to create test cases/scenarios on both ECU level (V3 SIL and HIL) and V5 system level for the suspension control system. The team is also responsible for regression testing and analysis of the result.
Since the team also includes function owners and SW developers you will be a closely involved in the SW development even though you will probably not write SW application code. You will perform tests in vehicles as well as tests in virtual environment. You will be an important member in an agile team, contributing to short term deliveries as well as long term strategies.
Key activities are:
Test case/scenario creation Run and analyze regression results (mainly automated) Develop and continuously improve our verification strategy and way of working
In this role, you will report to Carl-Johan Rundqvist - Group Manager Suspension Control.
