Key Objectives of this Role:
Job Purpose:
Identify, develop and deliver vertical integration projects that align with product and customer specifications. Lead complex processes from business case development & approval, PIC and PAR approval, plus tracking of project delivery to commitments whilst ensuring product and customer compliance. Successfully industrialize new processes within budget, maintaining quality and capacity in target plants. Ensure alignment and execution between engineering, procurement, finance and manufacturing. Create, defend and present solid business cases that align with Visteon's strategy.Key Job Responsibilities:
Accelerate new initiative investigations and expand new VI technologies / processes to more programs for faster near term savings. Build and validate business cases with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, sales, finance, and legal. Develop and deliver PIC and PAR documentation for C-level approval. Drive and coordinate cross-functional material margin activities, ensuring delivery and follow-up, and escalate to top management when necessary. Lead the generation of new ideas and conduct preliminary validation with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams before proceeding with the business case. Prepare monthly reports for C-level executives.Key Performance Indicators:
Number of Successful PIC Approvals: 100% increase on 2024 (7) Number of Successful PAR Approvals: 100% increase on 2024 (9) Cumulative Savings Executed ($M): +$20M Execution On Time and With In budget for New Manufacturing Processes Value of Pipeline Ideas Under Assessment: $10M Timely & Accurate delivery of monthly executive summary decks
Qualification, Experience and Skills
Technical bachelor’s degree in engineering or business studies Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business or Manufacturing environment working in area related to strategy or business planning. Ability to analyze and manipulate technical and complex data and provide meaningful information. High level of organizational skill, time management and attention to detail Excellent analytical skills and ability to provide accurate detailed reports. Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and the ability to quickly learn and use other software packages. Experience within a global company working with cross-functional and cross-country teams. Ability to work on several projects at once and balance workload to meet timing with high quality, error free delivery Special/regulatory requirements – if any (e.g. qualification/certification, language capability, extensive travel etc.) Fluent in English languageKey Behaviors:
