What you’ll be doing:
· Within the leadership team of Staples Promotional Products, the Vertical Market Sales Manager focuses on the Affiliate Partnership business with SC/SP
· This leader will be the face of Staples within their vertical, acting prominently within the vertical, maintaining expert professional knowledge within the vertical.
· The Vertical Market Sales Manager administers and fosters the growth of the promo partnership's as well as training and working with the promo partners team to drive successful penetration in these markets.
· The Vertical Market Sales Leader will drive the accelerated growth and development of their promo partner business.
· The primary role of this position includes creating the go to market strategy and driving the accelerated growth and development of the promo partnership.
· Also included within this role is member business development and account management in addition to overall accountability for sales revenue goals, SMS margin, AOS and SPP profit.
· The Vertical Market Sales Manager is responsible for all business conducted with the cooperative purchasing organization, along with their participating members, and partners. Additional sales activities may be the result of partnering with the Vice Presidents, along with the Business Development and Account Management within the member market locations.

Qualifications
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
· 5+ years of vertical market experience
· 10+ years of sales experience
· Position may require approximately 50% travel
