Veterinarian Mason Family Pet Hospital

Mason Family Pet Hospital is seeking an associate veterinarian to join our growing team!

🐰New graduates, especially those passionate about exotics, encouraged to apply!

We are a busy, 6-doctor, small animal practice (dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets and reptiles) looking to hire a 7th, full or part time veterinarian to allow for continued growth. Located in Northeast Cincinnati, Mason is a fast-growing community and one of Greater Cincinnati’s most desirable areas for excellent schools, nice neighborhoods, and convenient shopping and recreation. Our hospital is a modern, well-equipped, recently expanded and remodeled facility with nearby specialists to provide advanced support as needed. Our staff of over 30 employees including 8 licensed RVTs is dedicated to excellent patient care and honest and friendly customer service. Teamwork is key at Mason Family, and each doctor works with 2.5 assistants/RVTs while seeing appointments and 2 technicians (1 RVT & 1 assistant) during surgery.

Our ideal candidate demonstrates a genuine concern for pets and people, and excellent communication skills. This opportunity is perfect for a confident newer doctor interested in exotics to have dedicated mentorship with those species and work alongside the managing doctor. Work a 35-44 hour schedule with at least one weekday off, alternating Saturdays, and no emergency duty.  An interest in rabbits, pocket pets, and reptiles and/or orthopedics is a plus.

Benefits & continuing education provided in addition to a competitive salary commensurate with experience.

NVAs formal General Practice Mentorship Program will help you bridge the gap between clinicals and actual practice for the first year of your veterinary career!
