About AniCura Dierenziekenhuis Tilburg We are a medium-sized animal hospital in Tilburg with 7 veterinarians, 10 paraveterinarians and 1 practice manager. We not only provide 1st line veterinary medicine in the broadest sense, but are also a referral clinic for Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Soft tissue surgery, Medical Imaging, Dentistry and Cardiology. Our animal hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic options, including 3 state-of-the-art operating rooms, operating microscope, minimally invasive laparoscopy/ thoracoscopy, 40 slice spiral CT, intra-operative C-arm, ultrasound, video endoscopy, and diagnostic laboratory. What are we looking for in a veterinarian/surgeon? AniCura Animal Hospital Tilburg is looking for a surgeon for small animals for the referral clinic, which has an important regional referral function. We are looking for you if you have expertise in the full range of orthopedic, spinal and soft tissue surgery. You are a real team player and driven and proactive, just like us. Within our team we have a starting surgeon, of whom we expect you to want to play a role in his further development. We are looking for a driving force who has the ambition to further expand the referral clinic together with our team. The status of diplomate (ACVS or ECVS) is preferred, but candidates with a certifying suitability such as ESAVS or ESVPS are also eligible. We can provide at least 16 hours of work a week, more hours are possible. Some examples of the procedures we need you to perform in our hospital are: + Soft Tissue - Head neck surgery (vbo,tecabo,maxillectomy,(para)thyroidectomy) + Soft Tissue - Thorax surgery (pda, pericardectomy, thymoma, lunglobe resection) + Soft Tissue - Abdominal surgery (pss, hernias, adrenalectomy, liver lobe resection, nefrectomy) + Orthopedic – TPO/DPO + Orthopedic – Total Hip replacement + Diagnostic imaging – CT, X-Ray, Ultra Sound What does AniCura Dierenziekenhuis Tilburg offer you as a veterinarian/surgeon?
