Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists is currently seeking a board-certified Veterinary Anesthesiologist with an interest to join our dedicated team! We are looking for an individual who shares our passion for advancing medicine. Our 60,000 sq-ft hospital hosts specialty practices in Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Radiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, Radiation Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Allergy, as well as Avian and Exotics supported by our Anesthesiology service. We practice high level anesthesia with dedicated staff and specialized equipment including an ultrasound for peripheral nerve blocks and assessment of cardiac function, several advanced ventilators including the WATO EX-20VET, and a dedicated endoscope for one lung ventilation and intubation. Our hospital has 64- slice CT capable of cardiac gating, 1.5T MRI, stand alone and point of care radiography, C-arm, ultrasound, endoscopy, cystoscopy, electrodiagnostic equipment, I131 treatment, and a Varian Halcyon radiation therapy system capable of advanced radiation therapy modalities. In addition to the specialty services, we have a 24/7/365 emergency service with a team of dedicated ER doctors and Criticalists.
