**Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Reception** **Location: London, Ontario** Northdale Animal Hospital is currently welcoming a dependable and caring Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Reception to join our team! This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in a very important support role for the entire hospital. + Assisting veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments + Cultivating a warm, positive, compassionate atmosphere for our clients and patients + Managing email correspondence for clients, referring veterinarians, andinternal office communications + Handling appointment scheduling, pet patient admission and discharge, and follow-up calls + Managing invoicing/billing, including creating estimates, obtaining pet owner confirmation, and processing payments and insurance coverage + General cleanliness maintenance in reception, pet holding areas, andcommon spaces in the hospital + Demonstrating willingness to learn about pet nutrition, veterinary services, and updated medical office procedures + Remaining calm and adaptable in stressful situations + Taking initiative and working independently + A Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Assistant Office Administration (VAOA) program certificate is an asset + A love for all companion animals! **Schedule:** Applicants must be open to working at three different General Practice VCA Canada Animal Hospital locations in London, ON. The open position is for a Casual/Relief Associate - consistent weekly hours are not guaranteed. Opportunities for part-time/full-time status may be available at a later date.
