Bush Veterinary Neurology Service in Springfield, VA is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our outstanding team!
Are you an experienced Veterinary Assistant or LVT student who excels in patient handling, restraint, and communications?  About you:You love to learn and want to master neurological anatomy and functions.Your patient restraint skills are top notch, and you want to learn how and why neurologic patients require specific restraint/ patient are skills.You're keen attention to details helps you recognize changes in patient attitude, abnormal behavior, and changes in condition.You work well under independently and as a part of a close- knit team.You pride yourself on your written and verbal communication skills.You enjoy client education including intake and discharge instructions.You adapt to the individual needs of each patient and are not afraid to ask questions. You maintain your calm in stressful situations and maintain a positive attitude. EzyVet and SmartFlow experience is a plus!

About Us: 
Bush Veterinary Neurology has four locations across 2 states! Our clinics are operated by board certified neurologists that provide same-day life-saving neurosurgery and long-term medical management. Our hospitals house state of the art equipment to provide advanced diagnostic testing including cerebrospinal fluid collection/analysis, computed tomography, electroencephalography, MRI and more! Our neurologists perform both spinal and brain surgeries. Some of these surgeries include intervertebral disc surgery, brain tumor removal, foramen magnum decompression, ventricular shunt replacement and more!!  Veterinary technicians play an integral role in our hospital whether they are handling patient care, taking care of clients, running our diagnostic imaging equipment, or assisting doctors in surgery. You will fully utilize your skillset and continue to develop your knowledge for years to come! We are looking for a compassionate technician who is ready to put their skills and leadership ability to work!
