Schedule: Full- time opportunity, 2nd shift hours (either 5p-2a or 2-11p).

Key Responsibilities

As an ER Veterinary Assistant, you will play an integral role in providing exceptional emergency care to our patients and outstanding service to their owners. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting veterinarians during emergency procedures and exams.Triaging incoming patients and providing critical first aid.Performing routine and emergency treatments, such as administering medications, IV catheter placement, and bandaging.Monitoring vital signs and recording patient observations accurately.Preparing and maintaining surgical and treatment areas.Ensuring proper restraint of patients for exams and procedures.Educating clients on post-treatment care and answering their questions.Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the hospital to meet safety and sanitary standards.
