Have you wanted to learn how to become a Veterinary Technician? We have a full time Veterinary Assistant position open on our night shift - 7pm to 7am, 3 nights per week.  Full benefits available.

Veterinary assistants perform all aspects of routine pet care once trained on each task, as well as assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the hospital, and ensuring supply is stocked to enable doctors and technicians to remain efficient and effective for our patients.
General tasks include, but are not limited to:

Feed animals and monitor whether they're eating.Bathe pets when necessary.Exercise the patients.Assist veterinarians and vet technicians with lab work.Clean, sterilize, and maintain kennels, exam rooms, cages, and equipment.Comfort and restrain pets during examinations and care.Restocking of suppliesAnswer phones, perform some clerical duties.Must be able to independently lift 40lbs

Experience in some form of animal care preferred, but not required. Initiative, and strong work ethic required.
