VCA Urgent Care Centennial located in Aurora, Colorado is looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive team.
This position is full-time with approximately four 10 hour shifts a week, compensation is based on on experience and ranges from $20-$24/hr. One weekend shift per week is required, as well as some holidays; Our hospital is open from 10am-8pm seven days a week 365 days a year.
The ideal candidate for this position would be efficient in blood draws, patient restraint, communicating with clients, RX identification/filling, is proficient at capturing full-body radiographs, comfortable at SQ/IV/IM injections, can administer and monitor anesthesia, is a team player, has good communication skills, and is willing to advance their skills through offered learning opportunities.
