Veterinary Criticalist Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital (MASH)

Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital (MASH) is seeking a fourth Criticalist to join our excellent Critical Care Team. The position will focus primarily on hospitalized patient care in our ICU, either in a daytime or swing shift. The ideal candidate is friendly, honest, helpful, and communicates effectively with their team. We encourage growth and innovation and are equipped with cutting-edge equipment to support our doctors including a Siemens Sensation CT Machine, cone beam CT imaging, GE Fluoroscopy Unit, multiple brand-new ultrasound machines, Digital Endoscopy Station, High Flow Nasal Oxygen, our own Oxygen Generator, ventilator equipment, a holmium laser,


MRI, and extensive in-house laboratory testing ability.


MASH boasts a close group of specialists that collaborate well with each other to provide the best care available for our patients. You would be joining 3 board-certified Criticalists and nine emergency doctors that currently make up the ECC service. The MASH standard and culture is that our ICU and Critical Care Service are at the heart of our hospital, with our Criticalists supporting the care of our patients and elevating our standard of medicine to the highest possible level. Our Critical Care coverage is designed to be seven days a week, covering 17 hours a day, such that our ICU patients receive a consistent presence of expert knowledge and oversight. Our ECC Team works closely with the support of our other specialties in the hospital which include: Internal Medicine and Surgery (both present seven days a week) as well as Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Nutrition, Neurology, Dermatology, Oncology and Dentistry.
