VCA Canada Veterinary Specialty Clinic for Anesthesia and Neurology (VSCAN) is expanding its Neurology and Neurosurgery team and is excited to welcome a Veterinary Neurologist to join our esteemed group of; board-certified specialists in Neurology and Anesthesiology and Registered Radiologic Technologist . Since 2016, VSCAN has been a leader in providing state-of-the-art neurology, neurosurgery, digital imaging, and anesthesia services to the Ottawa and Gatineau communities.

Delivers exceptional care to both patients and their owners
Will carry out a diverse range of procedures daily, including imaging, myringotomy, CSF taps, epidural injections, and other related procedures
Values strong relationships with clients, team members, and the referring community
Compassionately reviews medical procedures and potential outcomes with clients
Thrives in a team committed to continuous learning and growth.
Is eager to mentor and guide the next generation of neurologists
Is capable of efficiently completing medical records and preparing referral reports on time
Support Offered in this Role:
Access to advanced equipment, including a high-field MRI (1.5T with specialized small coils for smaller patients), a multi-slice CT scanner, ultrasonic aspirator, electro-diagnostics, a class IV laser, on-site CSF processing, and a laboratory
Collaboration with a board-certified Anesthesiologist as part of the team
A strong and dedicated support staff committed to delivering the highest standard of care
One-on-one mentorship from our senior Neurologist
