At Willows, we strive to provide the highest standards of professional care and service for our clients and their animals, aiming to treat each patient as if they were our own. You will be assisting a team of four veterinary physiotherapists and will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team at Willows. You will work closely with veterinary physiotherapists to assist with cases from Neurology, Orthopaedic, Pain Clinic and Primary Care services. **Key responsibilities** + Maintenance and cleanliness of the rehabilitation areas and equipment, primarily the hydrotherapy suite + Support veterinary physiotherapist during hydrotherapy sessions, helping to shower patients, take videos of sessions and liaise with clients + Assist with general administrative tasks + Promote a positive and dynamic image and culture, to enable further engagement in the veterinary physiotherapy profession from all members of the multidisciplinary Hospital team + Demonstrate a solution-orientated mindset, taking initiative to anticipate potential issues and propose practical solutions to address them **Personal characteristics** + Compassionate and patient demeanour + Desire to learn and grow in the field of veterinary rehabilitation + Good organisational skills + Good communication skills + Happy to be hands-on with patients + Happy to talk to and work with groups + Able to follow procedures + Able to motivate patients + Willing to work alone or in a team **Skills and experience** + Safe animal handling and restraint experience + Understanding of basic animal care The position would be suitable for a recent veterinary physiotherapy graduate, but this is not essential. The role will be working regular hours of Tuesday to Saturday, the working hours are: Tuesday - 09.00-18.00 Wednesday - 09.00-18.00 Thursday - 09.00-18.00 Friday - 08.00-16.30 Saturday - 08.00-13.30 There is no bank holiday or out of hours work.
