Cachet Village Animal Hospital is currently welcoming an organized and empathic individual to join our support team full-time in the dual role of a Veterinary Reception and Animal Care Attendant.

Caring for our patients; feeding, walking and offering a gentle voice of assurance.

Ensure animal housing or enclosure is clean, sanitary and comfortable.

Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients and pet parents

Excellent customer service skills, with a genuine aptitude for putting pets and their owners at ease and creating a welcoming environment.

Scheduling appointments.

Invoicing/billing; creating estimates, obtaining pet owner confirmation and processing payments.

Respond and manage email correspondence; clients, referring veterinarians & internal office messages.

Assisting veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments

Animal Restraint.

General housekeeping duties; pet holding, lobby and treatment areas.

Willingness to learn more regarding pet nutrition, veterinary services, updated medical office procedures and assisting the veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments.

Take initiative and work independently.

VA Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) program certificate is an asset.
