Wicstun Veterinary Group are expanding their Client Care Team at their Market Weighton branch. We are looking for a Receptionist with excellent customer service, and front of house skills. In this role you have the opportunity to enhance your skills working in a veterinary environment.
Your role and responsibilities
Our Receptionists are the first point of contact for anyone visiting our practices and we require a friendly and professional approach, and discretion where required. The main duties of the role:
Welcoming all clients and visitors to the hospital/practiceAnswering telephones and diverting or taking messages ensuring prompt delivery and accurate details.Monitoring practice email and directing enquiries to the relevant departmentAccurately inputting patient data to the computer system as requiredDealing with all general enquiries, explaining procedures in place and making new and follow up appointments.Processing repeat prescription requests ensuring the pharmacy receive in a timely manner.Advising patients of relevant charges, taking payments and providing receipts and invoices where applicable.Ensuring that waiting areas, reception and patient toilets are kept clean, tidy and stocked up.Working as a team to assist the Practice Manager in the debt recovery processOffice administration duties to include scanning and filingBranch work at our Pocklington and South Cave surgeriesThe role would suit an enthusiastic and motivated individual who takes pride in their work and can work well as part of a team.
Full time and part time applications consideredMonday – Friday (shifts between 8am – 7pm) plus 1:4 Saturday mornings (8am – 1pm)Previous experience in an office, reception/front of house role is essentialExperience within a veterinary setting is extremely desirableAble to work without direct supervisionBasic IT knowledge is essentialExperience with Teams and Outlook is extremely desirableFull UK driving license is essential.Benefits
