WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

Jump into emergency veterinary medicine on the front lines alongside our fantastic veterinarians! Veterinary scribes play a critical role in the medical process by building the perfect medical record for each and every patient. This job will jump start your veterinary career and allow you to get first 

hand experience shadowing our doctors, while learning an invaluable skill for the future. Come join our amazing team! 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

Compose electronic medical records Ability to communicate effectively with every member of the medical team Maintain professionalism and an exemplary work ethic Work in a fast paced environment Submit lab work and notify doctor when results are in Assist doctors with any non-clinical duties Write clearly and concisely with the ability to type quickly Ability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays 

 

WHO WE NEED: 

The ideal candidate for this position would be a friendly, driven undergraduate or postgraduate student with an interest in a future career in veterinary medicine, specifically emergency.  Outstanding communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to multitask Team player  Detail oriented  A love for people and a desire to help them succeed  A positive attitude and understanding that oftentimes, the little things can be unnoticed but it doesn’t mean they’re not integral to the organization’s success  Loves animals and caring for them  Ability to commute to the hospital (this is not a remote position)
