Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for exotic animals and outstanding organizational skills? At Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (VESH) located in West Springfield, we’re seeking a Specialty Services Coordinator to support our Specialty Services team with a primary focus on exotics. This non-exempt role is essential to ensuring smooth operations and exceptional client and patient care.
Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PMCompensation: Based on knowledge & experience$20 – $25Key Responsibilities:
As the Specialty Services Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our exotics department, supporting our specialists and delivering top-notch service to clients and referring veterinarians (RDVMs). Key duties include:Acting as a liaison between the hospital, RDVMs, and clients to ensure clear communication and timely updates.Scheduling consultations, rechecks, and procedures for exotic patients, while maintaining accurate records and estimates.Preparing client and patient files, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and organized.Monitoring and addressing exotics department emails, prescription refill requests, lab results, and appointment confirmations.Coordinating daily task lists for doctors and technicians to ensure seamless workflows.Sending client updates, sympathy cards, and RDVM communications promptly and professionally.Maintaining and purging exotics files in accordance with hospital policies.Supporting various specialty departments while prioritizing the exotics team.What to Expect:A Supportive Environment: Join a team that works like a TEAM.
