About the role:

This is a great environment for a confident Small Animal Vet, within a multi-vet primary care team. You will see a good mix of consults and surgeries; we welcome discussions around specific interests and certificate studies. This role would also be suitable for experienced Vets who are looking to develop into their first leadership role, as there is scope to incorporate some additional management responsibilities within this position, though this is not essential.

About Peak Vets:

Peak Vets is a single site, RCVS Veterinary Hospital located in the borough of Woodseats within the vibrant city of Sheffield (labelled the ‘Northern Capital of Cool’ by The Times). There are 8.5 FTE vets who are ably supported by a brilliant nursing and client care team. Peak pride themselves on providing high quality, accessible healthcare for their client’s pets. The practice has a very low turnover of associates; they love their work and like to have fun together within and outside of the practice. There are currently Certificate holders in Dermatology, Feline Medicine, Small Animal Medicine, Ophthalmology and Surgery. The practice has 4 spacious consulting rooms, 2 operating theatres, separate cat, dog and isolation wards and separate imaging and dental rooms, and is well equipped with the usual in-house diagnostic and surgical kit you would expect from an RCVS Hospital practice.
