Position: VFX Coordinator
Location: Canada (Remote)
*Pay Range: $20.19 - $30.00 CAD hourly
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Coordinator works directly with VFX Supervisors and VFX Producers to track the progress of shots between teams, coordinate daily reviews, and anticipate delivery deadlines. The Coordinator is reliable, a positive communicator, and adaptable with quick turnarounds.
MAIN DUTIES:
The VFX Coordinator will coordinates and logs dailies. They will coordinate with other departments to efficiently allocate resources across projects. They will reflect status changes and shot progress throughout project duration. Other duties include:Liaise between artists, producers, and supervisors.Support production management team with ad hoc projects/tasks.Manage deliverables directly with internal Editorial Team.Manage all Outsourcing to external vendors.Capture client feedback during review sessions.
WHAT YOU BRING:
The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and project management skills. They will bring strong verbal and written communication skills. They will bring an ability to work with minimal supervision. They will bring strong knowledge of project management software including Word and Excel. They will also bring the following:Experience with production tracking software (preferably Shotgrid)Capable of working as a part of a team and independentlyMust have a high level of initiative, flexibility, and confidentialityGeneral understanding of post-production process and work created in software used for Compositing, 3D Modeling, Animation, and VFXExpertise in maintaining positive customer relationships through written communication with external clients Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
