Job Summary
This position will be responsible to source products or services that provide Vandalia with exceptional quality while maintaining total cost of ownership (TCO). This position will enable more specific and detailed coordination of efficiencies and initiatives through product disruptions, conversions at a facility level as well as at an organizational level. The Clinical Sourcing Coordinator in conjunction with the Inventory coordinators, Value Analysis Team & key clinical staff will identify appropriate proposed product alternatives and work with these teams to ensure product disruptions are managed in a timely manner. The position will participate in identifying opportunities, standardization/streamline utilization efforts, lead projects, work with teams, and manage processes and resources on a large scale. This person will be a resource to the Inventory Controllers to assist with supply backorders and disruptions as well as manage product conversions.
Responsibilities
Supply conversion opportunity support and ownership of process/communicationSupply disruption / backorder support to Inventory location staff and Purchasing AgentsSupport contract analysis Direction to SCM team identifying ownership of items as it pertains to the Distribution supply resolution report Sourcing for savings opportunities in conjunction with Value Analysis and ContractingDisaster supply support on sourcing supplies, assisting with allocation management, communicationBuild and maintain relationships with key/core suppliersProject management of large system conversions SCM metrics and quality improvement projects support and participation(Essential duties common to all positions.)

Education
• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Formalized Training (Required) 5 Years medical product experience
