We need upbeat Prep Crew members to work part-time on our Weekend Night Shift (Fri 23:00-07:00, Sat 19:00-07:00, Sun 19:00-03:00) at our Alliston facility. Pay rate: $28.85/hour.
Job ResponsibilitiesPrep crew is responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of Viaflex fill lines, fill machines, pumps, pipeworks, and parts, filling, tanks, and change rooms. This role includes:
Monthly and weekly cleaning of classified and unclassified areas in Mixing and Filling departments.Cleaning of various equipment in mixing and filling areas (emplexes, trough washes, etc.).Timely sanitization of all fill lines over the Weekend.Handling cleaning agents and sanitization temperature water.Working in confined tanks.Spraying walls in tank room and mix room with standard cleaning solution using a power spray gun.Rinsing with distilled water.Manually cleaning walls in the fill room and change room with required cleaning agents.Cleaning conveyors and all stainless steel in fill rooms, change rooms, and pouching room.Ball rinsing tanks, part washes, and filling tanks for required batches.Assisting with mixing and chlorinating floors in fill rooms and change room.Emptying and washing garbage pails.Assisting with line teardowns as required.Performing mix loop, sanitization loop, and rinse loop drops sanitization.Handling foaming lactate skids, black skids, and garbage cans from the change room with an SCS or equivalent experience.Vacuuming fume hood in the prep crew room and wiping the entire unit with 70% alcohol.Draining alcohol from the equipment sanitization bin, rinsing, and refilling.Inspecting lower tank room drains and removing debris.Foaming walls, floor, and ceiling in the lower mix change room with SCS or equivalent experience.Foaming and rinsing ceiling and walls in the trough area with SCS or equivalent experience.Cleaning and removing rust from stainless steel.Cleaning out the drain basket in the lower tank room.Inspecting rust on HEPA filters in Viaflex A, B, C, T line and in Viaflex tank room and weigh area.Documenting activities on the EBR computer system.Safety and QualityThe top two priorities for all Baxter Alliston employees are Safety and Quality:
