Vibration Technician 

 

The Vibration Technician II is responsible for overseeing all vibration monitoring functions for assigned sites.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Collect periodic vibration route dataAnalyze vibration route data and report relevant issues to Reliability EngineerTroubleshoot equipment using vibration data collection and analysisCommunicate issues to relevant partiesShop and field balancingAcceptance testing in the shop and fieldEquipment inspection including but not limited to alignment, soft foot, coupling condition, base condition, lubrication condition, etc.Read and understand P&ID’sHands on millwright / mechanic work on occasion

Requirements:

Computer skills and knowledge of software as they apply to vibrationChemical industry experience preferred SAP experience is preferredHigh School Diploma or GED or related military experience is required3-5 years’ experience in industry maintenanceAble to deal with customers (internal and external)Able to exercises independent judgment and evaluationKnowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective equipment (face-shield, gloves, safety harness, etc.)
