What the day will look like Act as the lead actuary and collaborate with other actuaries on various major clients. Conduct pricing and capital modeling for diverse reinsurance structures to support decision-making processes. Prepare and conduct client presentations. Communicate technical analysis results to executive-level and non-actuarial personnel. Possess a comprehensive understanding of the global insurance and reinsurance market, and evaluate how changes in the insurance environment affect clients. Be recognized as a knowledgeable member of the client team, proficient in clients' business and reinsurance programs, with frequent interactions with brokers and occasional direct client interactions. Develop strong relationships with other actuarial and broking colleagues, clients, and reinsurers Exhibit thorough knowledge of Aon’s analytical suite of products, services, and capabilities. Take initiative on internal projects aimed at enhancing processes, products, or services. Consistently produce work of exceptional quality and quantity. Perform additional duties as assigned. This opportunity offers exposure to top-level executives and decision makers at a wide variety of clients and reinsurers. Skills and experience that will lead to success Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Math, or an analytically oriented equivalent. Completion of a recognized actuarial designation specializing in non-life insurance (FCAS, or equivalent Fellowship-level actuarial designation with non-life specialty). 7+ years of experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written). Strategic and analytical thinking skills. High accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Ability to train and mentor new team members. Team participation ability. Extensive knowledge of MS Office suite of products. Knowledge of stochastic modeling software is beneficial. Proficiency in a programming language (R, Python, SQL, others) is beneficial. French bilingualism is beneficial.
