About this role
The APAC Client Business Regional Sales Support team works closely with the Client Business sales teams to execute our client strategy and to support the growth agenda of our regional Wealth and Institutional business. The team is currently seeking a Vice President to lead the team to service our growing regional client base and facilitate daily client operations with functional partners across BlackRock.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading a team of Core Sales Support representatives in the Taiwan office and reporting to a regional/functional Head. Serve as a point of escalation for clients and internal stakeholders for book of work prioritization and quality oversight. Work closely with internal and external business partners; including but not limited to, Client Business sales teams, Business Operations and Functional teams. Monitor team performance and present key performance metrics to senior management. Be a leader in identifying process improvement opportunities and driving operational efficiency. Embrace corporate AI toolset and play a key role in driving adoption of technology to optimize efficiency. Participate in cross-regional / cross-functional projects.Key Qualifications:
Ideally 8+ years of prior experience in asset management/ financial services industry client-facing roles. Professional Licenses: SITCA licensing (Senior Securities Specialist or Securities Investment Trust & Consulting Professionals) is required. Proven experience in leading and managing a team is essential. Experience in building a team from scratch is highly beneficial. Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin. Proficiency inJapanese and/or Korean is a strong plus. An individual, who processes a proactive and ‘can do’ attitude, which can lead self and others with drive, determination and a willingness to learn and innovate. Personable, confident, self-starter/leader and able to develop positive relationships with both clients external and internal partners. A proactive team-player who understands that a highly organized team can drive better performance and can take the lead in driving through operational improvements and change. Highly motivated and passionate in problem solving and shows willingness to commit for clients. Organized, well-adapted and methodical approach to work and able to run time well whilst working in a sometimes-pressured environment, with the ability to handle and prioritize work of self and others effectively to consistently meet business goals. Capacity for working effectively and efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.Our benefits
