Vice President, Asset Sustainability

Ameresco seeks a Vice President, Asset Sustainability to join our ASG team in Toronto, Canada.
 

Responsibilities:

Business Growth and Management

Formulate successful strategies to increase advisory services and software deployment activities and ensure annual goals are attained

Oversee financial reporting and administration of ASG business

Aid in the development, management and reporting of business measurements, standards and procedures:

Management and reporting of financial kpi’s addressing business and growth

Performance measurement for Practice Areas

Standardization of pricing policy (software and advisory services)

Reporting and measurement of business development growth

Ranking / Scoring of prequalification criteria

Forecasting of revenue, margin, EBITDA (contracted and proposed)

Streamline and manage contract administration and legal review processes (existing/new contracts and proposed contracts)

Risk management assessment of business health

Aid with the enhancement of business efficiency and effectiveness:

Facilitate risk assessment meetings with ASG stakeholders, aligning practice areas through Project Charters.

Optimize service margins and drive peak operational performance.

Enhance business processes to handle increased project volume, clients, and engagements.

Establishment, refinement of operational management SOP’s (Charters, etc.)

Balanced approach to staff utilization and deployment

Coordinate the development interface with project management and operations teams to assure customer satisfaction

Establish and refine metrics/kpi’s for Project Managers and Directors to measure performance of individual projects with role up to practice areas

Provide hands on leadership, planning, and management of procurement, contract administration, software solutions, advisory & consulting opportunities to assure total quality and project delivery on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Plan, budget, track, and effectively manage organizational and team resources to achieve business objectives.

Support the Customer Success team initiatives including monetization of training programs and certification programs.

Collaborate on project delivery with Practice Area Leaders, focusing on growth initiatives and program rollouts.

Advisory service consultation – aid Practice Area Leaders with delivery of client facing briefs, reports, presentations.

Aid in the successful development, organization, strategic positioning, preparation, technical analysis and issuance of winning proposals and presentations

Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to identify, target, qualify, and secure customers for all ASG solutions

Working with corporate marketing, aid in the oversight of business collateral, marketing materials, press releases that align with ASG market direction
 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree – Advance Education preferred (MBA)

Minimum 10 years senior management and leadership experience cultivating, securing, and implementing multi-million-dollar software and advisory service engagements.

Additional Qualifications:.

Superior financial planning, budgeting, and organizational resource management abilities.

Excellent verbal, written, technical communication and presentation skills required. 

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.

Advanced MS Office proficiency. Smartsheet expertise preferred.  MS D365 experience preferred, Salesforce experience preferred

Knowledge of AssetPlanner software system is preferred

Valid Drivers’ License in good standing

Travel required.
