Here’s what you’d do: The Vice President, Chief Information Officer (CIO) leads the organization's technology strategy, infrastructure, and systems. This role partners with functional business leaders to drive productivity with technology enhancements, oversees the IT department, implements technological innovations, ensures data security, and manages the company’s digital transformation efforts. The VP plays a pivotal role in leveraging technology to drive business growth, improve customer experiences, and increase operational efficiency. You’d be responsible for: + Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals + Lead digital transformation initiatives to drive business growth and improve processes + Collaborate with other senior executives to define business strategies and objectives that rely on technology + Manage IT budgets, resources, and personnel to ensure efficient operations + Oversee data governance, ensuring data privacy, integrity, and security are maintained + Establish policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations + Manage cybersecurity efforts to protect company data and systems from potential threats + Ensure business continuity through effective disaster recovery and IT risk management plans + Oversee the day-to-day management of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance + Drive the integration and optimization of enterprise systems (HRIS, ERP, CRM, etc.) + Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, advising on their potential for improving business processes or creating new opportunities + Lead the development and implementation of digital tools, applications, and platforms + Foster a culture of innovation within the IT department and across the organization + Build and lead a high-performing IT team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities + Recruit, train, and retain top IT talent to support the organization's technology goals + Ensure effective communication between the IT department and other business units. + Manage relationships with third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers + Partner with Procurement to negotiate contracts and ensure the delivery of quality IT products and services + Serve as a liaison between technology and business stakeholders, ensuring technology initiatives meet business needs + Develop and implement metrics and KPIs to assess IT performance, including system uptime, project timelines, and budget adherence + You might be a good fit if you have: + Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
