POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President, Contacts is responsible for dynamic market screening, leadership, demand creation, opportunity identification, development, and selection of opportunities that support the business development campaign strategy. The position will also act as a facilitator of cooperation between business development, operations, and functional support organizations. A hybrid work schedule of in office and remote is expected.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain contract administration policies and procedures across the organization. Ensure all operating units operate within the Government contractual policies, such as the FAR and commercial laws, regulations and other applicable guidelines. Reviews proposed contracts for compliance with RFP requirements. Ability to interface with a wide range of personnel including, customer representatives, executives, proposal managers, and capture managers, to facilitate the efficient and effective development of new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key contracting officials and contracts/procurement executives in industry Assist in developing Company product offerings. Ensure they are relevant to current and potential customers and that they leverage corporate discriminators. Understand the competitive market and develop methods for favorably positioning the company ahead of its competitors. Understand competitive products and services and utilize BD techniques to differentiate the company’s offering. Executes best-practice business development processes. Monitors, collects, and evaluates data and prepares recommendations. Responsible for supporting applicable PSC.1 requirements and the Security Operations Management System. Advanced degree in business administration, finance, or law preferred; however advanced leadership experience may substitute. Must have demonstrated management and financial skills in dealing with all phases of business operations. The ideal incumbent will have 10+ years’ experience in federal government contracting. Extensive professional experience requiring ability to communicate effectively as a leader. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion. Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.BENEFITS

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
