What is the opportunity?
The role of Vice President, Credit Strategy is responsible for credit sector analysis of corporate credit products. Primary objectives are to ensure timely and relevant intelligence is provided to internal and external clients. This position reports into the Head of European Credit Sector Strategy and works closely with Credit Sales and Trading.
What will you do?
Advise investors on credit developments and relative value opportunities through written notes, phone calls, meetings, and presentationsBrief colleagues in sales and trading regularly on key credit themes and developments in the relevant sector. Includes morning meeting and commentsInput into strategic risk positions, highlighting areas where we have concernsEnsure the product is aligned with internal stakeholders’ interest ensuring name coverage is constantly reviewedEnsure output is high quality, relevant and timelyMaintain a close relationship with other asset class researchWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Proven experience as a Credit Research Analyst in financial marketsStrong analytical skills with experience in financial modelling and detailed spreadsheet workSuperior customer service focus and attitude for internal and external clientsStrong knowledge of accounting, statistics, and Excel modellingGood personal skills and the ability to work and coordinate effectively within a team environmentCertified roleNice-to-have
