Vice President, Data and Integrity Team – Collateral Management
Summary: The Vice President of the Data and Integrity Team will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of static and Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI) data setups, as well as Collateral Support Annex (CSA) terms, MSFTA and MRA/GMRA terms within the Collateral platform. This role demands a control-oriented mindset, strict adherence to firm-wide policies, and the ability to develop and implement robust desk procedures. The VP will drive strategic initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to uphold data integrity and operational excellence within the Collateral Management space. Key Responsibilities: Static and SSI Data Management: + Lead the setup, maintenance, and validation of static data and SSI in collateral systems. + Implement controls to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across platforms. + Develop automated workflows for data updates and reconciliation processes. Agreement Setup: + Manage the configuration and maintenance of CSA terms, MSFTA, MRA/GMRA terms within collateral system, ensuring alignment with negotiated agreements. + Collaborate with legal, risk, and compliance teams to validate legal terms relevant to Collateral and resolve discrepancies. + Monitor CSA-related processes to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and regulatory requirements. Control Mindset and Compliance: + Uphold firm-wide controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate operational, regulatory, and reputational risks. + Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations. + Implement risk management frameworks to identify and address control gaps. Desk Procedure Development: + Design, document, and maintain comprehensive desk procedures for data management. + Ensure procedures are aligned with firm-wide standards and are accessible to team members. + Train the team on procedures and monitor adherence to maintain operational consistency. Technology and Innovation: + Partner with IT to enhance data systems and data management tools. + Identify and implement technology solutions to streamline processes and improve data quality. + Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in collateral management and data integrity. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field; master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) preferred. + 7+ years of experience in collateral operations, with expertise in static/SSI data setups and CSA agreement management. + Proven track record of managing end-to-end collateral processes in a financial institution. + Strong understanding of firm-wide controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance. + Experience in developing and implementing desk procedures. + Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. + Proficiency in collateral management systems (e.g., Colline, Murex, or similar platforms). + Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve complex operational issues. Preferred Skills: + Proficient in Excel and Knowledge of automation tools like SQL for data management. + Experience with regulatory frameworks such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, or Basel III. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The expected base salary ranges from $100,000 - $130,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
